Such a “Tease”! (Review of Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balm)

My love affair with lip crayons continues, and the latest to grab my attention is the Revlon Colorburst Lacquer Balms. I have a couple in my collection, and I have to say, I think I need to own all of them. Yes, I do. Here’s a look at Tease*, a burnt orange that I think could work on so many skin tones.

Apparently, orange is an on trend colour this Spring. I’ve been a long-term orange lover so that doesn’t impact me. For those of you who want to try orange, this might be the one to look into. It delivers the impact but it’s not an in your face orange — it’s more of a soft and glossy orange, very appropriate for even the most corporate of environments. Alternatively, because of the pencil format, it’s easy to whip this on, and feel like you are put together while running around doing groceries.

These Lacquer Balms glide on easily, and have this peppermint smell/feeling that I absolutely cannot get enough of. I reapply it just to experience that slight tingle on the lips. Yum! For those of you like me who tend to get dry lips, these crayons are very moisturizing since they feature shea, coconut and mango butters. Though lasting power isn’t as long as the Revlon Matte Balms, the glossy goodness you get out of these make it so worth it. I adore.

Have you tried the Lacquer Balms?

Give it a try Tracy. This one isn’t super bright, is glossy and more sheer than say MAC Neon Orange. Also a great price point — between $9 and $11 depending on where you go.

OOO you look GORGEOUS with Tease! Not sure if we have received these yet, but I’m going to check out the display when I can (gotta go to Brussels for that. Revlon is ridiculously hard to find here)!
