The Red Carpet At Your Fingertips: Revlon by Marchesa
I know that I’ll never, at least in this lifetime, ever own or have an occasion to wear a Marchesa design. But hey, now thanks to Revlon, I can wear Marchesa on my nails! The Revlon by Marchesa Nail Art appliques have just launched, and based on what I’ve seen ladies, you need to run to your local retailer or drug store and get your hands on these. For realz.
The Revlon by Marchesa is a Limited Edition collection of 3D Jewel appliques. They are gorgeous with a capital G.
Revlon collaborated with the Marchesa design house to translate their couture gowns into an intricate collection of textured appliques accented with jewels and beads. Beautiful!
There are eight designs to choose from. I previewed six of them: 24K Brocade (mint green with gold accents); Jeweled Noir (black base with an intricate design of diamond and red beads); Royal Burgundy (featuring an intricate gold brocade design, and I think my favourite of the collection); Evening Garnet (featuring a pink base with red, blue and pink jewels); Gilded Mosiac (gorgeous gold mosaic pattern); and Crown Jewels (featuring a clear base with gold and diamond motif).
Each set ($8.95 each) contains 18 strips that fit most nail sizes and won’t stain nails. What I love about nail strips like these is that there is no dry time or they won’t dry out.
All of these can be worn as nail polish or as accents. Revlon says you can use the appliques as strips or as tips. The possibilities are endless. I, for one, have yet to try them as I am actually content just admiring them in their boxes. They are simply too pretty to use right now. Crazy, I know.
Anyway, I’ll share on Instagram when I cave in and crack open a box. It is bound to happen.
In the meantime, run, run to your store and let me know what you get.
