#LipstickDiary: I’ll Have Some “Sorbet”
Even though I’m usually all about bright lips, I was stuck in a neutral rut for a couple of weeks. It wasn’t until a visit to the hair salon that I finally woke up from the haze. Here I was, lipstick blogger wearing little to no lipstick. Tisk tisk. Meanwhile my hair dresser was wearing the most amazing, vibrant red lipstick. Get with it girl, a voice said in my head. I was inspired once again.
The first colour that grabbed my attention the next day was Sorbet, one of the new Annabelle Twist Up pencils. I’ve blogged about these pencils often, testament to how much I love them. (Ladies, if you haven’t tried these yet, run run to the store or order online (US and Canada only). They are amazing.)
Sorbet* is a bright, almost neon, coral pink. The pictures make it look like it’s more pink and doesn’t do any justice to how bright it is. But don’t fear it if you are shy about colour. You can build it up to the intensity you want. For me, I wear it full force. Happy happy colour.
As I’ve said before, these pencils are a dream to wear. They are creamy, have good lasting power and look amazing. And because they are twist-ups, you never have to sharpen.
I guarantee you’ll be seeing more of these as part of my #LipstickDiary in the coming weeks.
Gosh, it feels good to be back to the brights. Thanks Annabelle.
