A Smooth Start with John Frieda
Frizzy hair is not something I thought was a problem for me. I was so wrong. So very wrong. Thanks to some products from John Frieda*, I have seen the light and discovered that even fine hair can be frizzy, especially in the hot and humid weather. If I was properly prepared and thorough, I would show you a frizzy hair look versus non-frizzy. Unfortunately I’m not that organized right now so you’ll have to trust me. Pretty please?
To get frizz-free hair, it apparently starts with the shampoo and conditioner. Who knew?! I’ve enjoyed using John Frieda’s Smooth Start Shampoo and Conditioner. You don’t need much to get a good lather, and the scent is very subtle. The conditioner doesn’t feel heavy, and again I only need very little product. I do find I have to really rinse it out as it seems to penetrate the hair in a very intense manner (I’ve never written about shampoo before so please bear with me as I get the lingo down ). The product apparently contains ingredients that help to hydrate the hair and begins to combat the frizz.
I towel dry after this and then apply the Frizz-Ease Sheer Solution Lightweight Frizz Control (got that? What a mouthful!). Besides its long name, this stuff is magic. Seriously. I was skeptical when I read the description but after using this on a regular basis, I’m convinced. Life-changing product for me, ladies.
It certainly is lightweight — it does not feel heavy. Basically you have to shake-to-activate the dual formula, which is part lightweight serum and part smooth elixir.
It apparently helps hydrate on the inside while fighting frizz on the outside. This is good news for someone who just recently started colouring my hair.
Since I ombred by hair, my hair was a feeling a bit drier than normal and having this in has helped it tremendously. I feel like my hair is smooth and sleek.
