From Holographic to Polish for Sensitive Skin, the nail polishes I’m loving lately
The other day I wrote about the polishes that I would love to rock but can’t. Today, it’s the opposite. There are some nail trends that I’m totally loving.
Case in point is Maybelline’s new Holographic nail polishes*. When I first saw these I was mesmerized. These are so pretty. The effect on nails is gorgeous. Love the dimension they give to my nails. I honestly can’t stop looking when I have these on.
Here’s Lavender Lustre which has sheens of silver and of course, lavender.
Clinique also has a new line of polishes* for sensitive skin. I love, love, love these.
Apparently, nail polish can be an allergen source. And think about how often we touch our eyes or eye area each and every day? This line of polish is designed for those with sensitive skin and supposed to ‘minimize’ allergic reactions. I think that’s a great option.
I don’t have sensitive skin per se but I’ve been testing them out for about a month or so and I’m impressed. The colour range is fantastic — from bright neons to pale nudes to darky vampy colours. Application has been smooth and I”m impressed with how long the mani lasts when I have one of these on. I’m pretty much chip-free for an entire week – and I am one of those who nick my polish the minute I put it on. Overall, well-done Clinique!
