“Love Me” a Good Red Lipstick

I love me a good red lipstick. So when I saw this “Love Me” Be Legendary Lipstick* from Smashbox’s Spring 2013 collection, my heart went a pitter patter. Okay, maybe it skipped a beat altogether. The colour is just that beautiful.

Smashbox collaborated with street artist and illustrator Curtis Kulig to create the limited edition collection. It features two eyeshadow palettes, a blush, two lipsticks, lip glosses and a felt-tip eyeliner pen, with all stamped with Kulig’s signature ‘Love Me’ slogan. Check it out below on the lipstick — beautiful yes?

This colour itself is simply gorgeous. It is a warmer red but not so warm that cool toned ladies couldn’t rock it. It feels super moisturizing and the pigmentation is phenomenal. I adore it.

I love wearing red lipstick because it instantly makes me feel more chic and more put together. Here I had a little fun wearing the colour out with the fam.

This was my first Smashbox product ever, and I have to admit I am now even more intrigued.

What’s your favourite Smashbox product?

P.S. Are you on Vine (@Michelle – LipstickRules) and Instagram (@Michelle_LipstickRules)? I’d love it if you connected with me there! I’m loving both and post regularly. Can’t get enough.

Cool! I love how the warmth of your lips make the shade look slighty warmer and orange toned ^^. I love the engraved words in the lipstick too, I’m such a sucker for that, haha. The weather looks so lovely there Michelle, it’s snowing here!

Looks fantastic. The colour really brings out the rosiness of your cheeks
