Talk about a Dry Spell….
Well, hello there! It’s been a while hasn’t it? I cannot remember the last time I let this blog go so long between posts. Life did take over, and I also cannot deny I was a bit lazy at times preferring to be a reader of blogs versus a creator of posts. But as the saying goes, absence makes the heart grow fonder. I have missed you all.
When I don’t blog, I lose track of what’s going on in the beauty space and contribute to the discussion. I also kick myself for not being able to share amazing things like the L’Oreal Luxe Advent Calendar. This is filled with goodies from L’Oreal’s luxury brands like Armani, YSL, Lancome and shu uemura. I used to love opening the little windows in the Advent Calendars of my childhood and finding little chocolates. This grown-up version is a beauty lover’s dream with each window featuring a mini-luxury product. Sigh. It became available to Canadians starting October 15 at www.LooseButton.com but it’s since sold out. Bah humbug.
Ok spoiler alert. I couldn’t contain myself and opened all the windows. Look away if you bought the box 
When I don’t blog, the effort I put into taking photos of products and myself wearing the products goes down the drain. I forget what I have photographed, and what products I used. Blog faces wasted. Note to self: get organized!
Enough rambing. I hope you are all doing fabulously well.

Hello Sunny! This calendar is unlike anything I’ve seen before. Feel lucky to have had a chance to preview it — and open all the windows!

I think the advent calendar is such a good idea but it is so overpriced in my opinion. :/ sad, because I would love to see a really good one at a reasonable price!

Much better than chocolates, much. I used to be obsessed with advent calendars. This is the wave of the future – wish they made those for purchase down here in GA! Glad you’re back in action girl.
