From Bond-ettes to Lincoln Park After Dark: OPI’s Holiday 2012 Mini Sets
A friend of mine is a big fan of anything mini, and I have to say I am too. So when I had the chance to preview OPI’s new mini lacquer sets for Holiday 2012, I was in mini heaven. One set is a tie-in to the new Bond film, Skyfall which I’m really pumped to see. The other is a best of kit featuring some of the brand’s most popular colours. Giddy-up.
The Top Ten mini kit ($24.95) features: Alpine Snow, Bubble Bath, Tickle Me France-y, Kiss Me on My Tulips, Red lights Ahead….Where?, Big Apple Red, I’m Not Really a Waitress, You Don’t Know Jacques!, Vampsterdam, and Lincoln Park After Dark. The only one I’ve tried here is You Don’t Know Jacques so I’ll be a busy bee trying each and every one of these over the next few weeks.
Ok…let’s talk about Bond, James Bond. Ever since I was a kid, my movie buff of a father took me to any Bond movie that came out and I watched all the older ones on video (VHS, Beta…remember those days?) This mini kit, aptly named the Bond-ettes, speaks to my inner Bond girl. The kit, priced at $14.95 Canadian, features four shimmery shades: GoldenEye, The Spy Who Loved Me, Live and Let Die, and The World is Not Enough. I can’t wait to try GoldenEye, which I think is perfect for the Holiday season.
Now for the big question. Who is your favorite?
My vote was always for Connery, but Daniel Craig is doing a good job of convincing me to change my vote

This is great! I seriously want both! I only have a couple of colors from the best of kit, so I definitely want to pick that up

I have to say my favorite Bond is Pierce Brosnan

I’m torn between the original and the new – Sean or Daniel! I was really excited by the Skyfall range so I bought the mini set AND a few of the full size shades!

Maybe it’s okay to like both of them

both sets looks great. i love minis too, because i’ve never finished any polishes. minis are great size, don’t feel a lot of wastage when they go bad.

That is a good point Coco. I never finish any polishes either so the size is great.
