No Need to Be Colour Shy with These Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Natural Lipsticks
Mama’s got some new lipsticks. Okay, not ground-breaking news for this blog, but hey, I’m a lipstick junkie
My three new lipsticks are from the Rouge Artist Natural collection from Make Up For Ever. These have found a place in my heart. They are a great way to embrace colour but in a softer, gentler way.
The colours I tried from the collection are: N42, a soft pinky orange, N24, a soft pink, and N29 a brighter pink. These are unlike the lipsticks I’ve been sporting lately in terms of finish. All three are diamond finishes, meaning that they each have a hint of shimmer. I love the effect on my lips; it’s not overly shimmery but just enough to make your lips look very luscious. No need to add gloss here!
What I also love is the coverage which is light. It allows your natural lip colour shine through.
These also wear quite comfortably and feel moisturizing. All good things in my books.
Along with the diamond finish, the collection also features satin and iridescent finishes. The collection includes 50 (!) shades of lipstick, 18 of which are sold exclusively at Sephora. The others are available via Make Up For Ever. For more information visit, makeupforever.ca

Those are really pretty! I like the first one on you, but the last one would look the best of the three on me. Sadly, I don’t have access to MUFE here, which is probably a good thing for my wallet…

I like the first one on me too
I understand how that goes too!

I love 42 the most! It looks SO good on you Michelle! I’ll have to pay the MUFE store in Brussels a visit soon!

You should! I’m intrigued by the other colours too. I find these easy to wear!

These are all gorgeous colours and look fab on you! N42 is definitely plucking at my heartstrings the most. I usually prefer creme finish lipsticks, but the diamond finish is very nice.

Found these lipsticks in the last couple weeks. I love how they feel on my lips, and how moisturising they feel on my lips. They are addictive as I have bought 2 in the last 2 weeks. I got the iridescent finish ones but I am intrigued by the diamond finish. Note to self: you have enough lipstick to last you a lifetime.

So true Alicia!

Beautiful, especially that first one! The texture looks reminiscent of Revlon lip butters…no?
May 08, 2012 @ 20:40:27
Hey Alison, These are different from the Revlon lip butters. Those are more sheer in my opinion and slightly creamier/smoother.
