Revlon Lip Butters, How Do I Love Thee…
Heard of Revlon Lip Butters? If you haven’t, a simple Google or YouTube search will likely unearth many, many reviews. We only got these recently in Canada but even with its availability, it took me what seemed like FOREVER to get my hands on them. Thanks to my good friend Simone, I now have three in my possession: Cherry, Lollipop and Peach Parfait. Oh hai – I love these!
At the sake of sounding completely immature for a woman of my vintage, I LOVE LOVE LOVE these! Please excuse my all caps in this post but I feel this strongly about these Lip Butters.
I love the formula of this lip gloss/lipstick hybrid — it feels like a lip balm yet packs the right amount of pigmentation. I love how luscious and glossy my lips look and feel with these on. The brighter colours I have (Lollipop – pic #1 below; Cherry – pic #2 below) pack a punch of colour while the neutral Peach Parfait (pic #3 below) provides more of a subtle sheen on my lips.
I think these are very similar in texture to my Dior Addict lipstick in Bobo (which I also love), but I have to say the price point of these at under $10 Canadian at Walmart, sure beats the $30-plus price tag of the Dior lipstick.
I’m so obsessed with Revlon Lip Butters that I feel the need to own all of them. Oh yes.
Any suggestions for me on what I should pick up next?

If you want one that’s more your-lips-but-butter for everyday wear, Pink Truffle is a good pick. Raspberry Pie is also a great color! Darker than Lollipop and more like a “winter” version of it.

I’ve now started seeing these everywhere – Rexall is a good place to go and Walmart and Shoppers now have full displays.

I wanted them so bad I ordered raspberry sometime ago, no I’m waiting til I can get to the store and test the other colors before I buy.

Love my Lip Butters, too! I have Berry Smoothie, Candy Apple & Peach Parfait. Love the shades you got, too. I think I may have to pick up Lollipop one of these days.

I was very lucky to win 1 Revlon lip butter in a giveaway recently.While other girls searched high and low for the lip butters I had one fall straight on my lap..well on my door step with little effort.Imagine? It sure feels great.
I have it in Raspberry Pie.It looks gorgeous.It really suits my skin tone.It’s a reddish pink.We have similiar skintone so I would recommend you check it out soon. You won’t regret it.It’s a GORGEOUS shade.

These look really good on you! They look more pigmented than I expected.
I always skipped out on purchasing these because I’m not a huge lip product fan, but I think I have to swatch them next time I see them!

My fav is Strawberry Shortcake. I wear it all the time. These lip butters are my new favorite product. I’ve replaced my lipgloss with them. I feel brand new!

Those colors look lovely on you, Michelle. I’ve been dying to try them for what feels like months, and am continually shocked I haven’t seen them in drugstores yet.
I finally just ordered them from drugstore.com. They must be very popular because all four (Berry Smoothie, Lollipop, Raspberry Pie, Sweet Tart) are backordered 10-2 weeks. Can’t wait!

Well, looks like I’ll be hitting up the lip butters at my local Wal Mart tomorrow. I had not even heard of these?? How is that possible?? The all caps is what sold me on the fact I need to buy at least one;)

I love these too! I have been collecting different ones wherever I can, as they seem to be sold out everywhere. I have loved one called Plum Perfect or something like that, and recently picked up the Peach you recommended and the Raspberry one. The only one I really didn’t like was one called Creamsicle. I thought it would be neutral and sheer, but because the formula is so pigmented, it went on frosty and almost like that 90′s wear-concealer-as-lipstick fad. Not a good look on me.
