Lives up to the Hype: Armani Eyes To Kill Intense Eyeshadow
There are products that get a lot of lovin’ on blogs and by beauty editors. Armani Eyes to Kill Intense Eyeshadows fall into this category, and I am totally going to jump on the lovin’. The shadows I tried are amazing, particularly the colour #5 (Nola). Nola and I are now having an intense love affair. What’s not to love about this?
According to Armani, the Eyes to Kill shadows are designed to “last 24 hours, be crease proof, flake proof, waterproof and sweat proof….slide on, stay on and wipe off in an instant. ” Always a skeptic, I didn’t believe it till I tried it and so I did for the past month or so. Nola is a deep bronze, and now one of my go-to shadows. I often just wear Nola all over my lid with brown or black gel liner to line the eyes. It’s instant work appropriate glam.
Armani makeup is a luxury item, and in this case, I’d have to say that the Eyes to Kill shadows are splurge-worthy. I’d recommend putting it on your Christmas/Birthday/Everyday makeup wishlist. I’ve added a bunch of colours to my own wishlist.
Today I wore it on the eyes with MAC Dipdown liner, NARS Sin blush and NARS Bad Education lipgloss — yes, lipgloss!

I have #6 Khaki Pulse, and #7 Sweet Fire… I love them… the hype didn’t let me down

I have the red black one (Red Earth, #2 I believe) as I adore burgundy shades with my eye colour…I need to get more soon though

#5 is called Gold Blitz not nola. For some reason Armani has some kind of batch name/code on the bottoms of the jars rather than the name and only the number of the shadow color to identify, it’s very confusing! This is a gorgeous color, I have a few (Purpura and Rock Sand) and hope to purchase more in the (near) future! Sadly, they cannot be ordered online in Canada unless shipping from the states…I wish Nordstroms would get with the program!

It is an amazing color and looks fab on you! I’d really like to get #4 Pulp Fiction and #6 Khaki Pulse next…then maybe #1 Blast of Blue and #2 Lust Red. I also have most of the L’Oreal Infallible eyeshadows which are very similar and just as long lasting but 1/4 of the cost…and surprise surprise – L’Oreal is Armani’s parent company

So amazing, gorgeous colour on you! Have you tried Make Up Forever’s Aqua Cream? I’ve got it in Taupe which seems like a comparable colour to yours here… similar idea in terms of finish and staying power. But who can resist Armani?

I’ll have to try these sometime! I’ve never tried Armani’s eyeshadows, but I love their sheer lipsticks. I wore #21 on my wedding day.
