Simple yet (Lip) Chic…
I couldn’t decide — lipstick or gloss. So I decided to reach for Chantacaille’s Lip Chic, a hybrid lipstick and lipgloss combo.
The Lip Chic is an absolutely beautiful product — it is paraben-free and gives high-shine yet even coverage. It even has collagen that’s supposed to give a plumping boost.
I have the colour in Zinnia which looks like a super bright raspberry in the tube. On my pigmented lips, it is more pinkish red. I always think of the word ‘luscious’ when I have this on my lips. It feels moisturizing and is not sticky like a gloss. It has good lasting power but I’m a bit addicted to applying it throughout the day. When I wore this the other day, my look was simple yet chic, and I felt that was due to Zinnia.
Chantacaille is a high-end brand so prepare to spend mucho donero if you’re interested. This baby was about $35 (yikes). This is my only product from the line though the other day I did take a peek at the gloss that Angelina applied during the Golden Globes. Apparently, from that one action alone, the gloss sold out at counters worldwide. Imagine. Craziness.

Love this colour on you! Chantecaille has the most beautifully textured products. I love their lip products and foundations the most.

Oh, I have this one too! I was taking some swatch photos yesterday
. It feels so nice on the lips. I really want to try another shade but once I saw the price I decided it could wait a while! I got this one as part of an Ebay bundle and it's my favourite of the bunch.
