Mad about Coral Lips This Summer
I’m head over heels in love with coral this summer. What I love about coral is that it can look natural or vibrant depending on the shade or combination you use. Today I thought I’d share my current favorites:
- Shu Uemura Gloss OR 556 – this is a gloss I keep using over and over and the more I wear it, the more I love it. It looks vibrant but on the lips it is more sheer. It gives the most amazing shine
- Mary Kay Sherbet Liquild Lip colour – this has become a staple in my makeup bag since I got it. Whether you wear it sheer or more opaque, this is a winner in my books. See my review here.
- MAC Jazzed (LE) – One of the infamous ‘sold out’ products from the In the Groove collection. On me this is a very light peachy/coral lip. It is more of a natural nude lip on me.
- MAC Fresh Salmon (LE) – this has a bit more pink than Jazzed and has more of a frosty finish. Lovely though in my opinion.
- YSL Gloss Pur #8 (LE) – if you’re a YSL fan, you need to go and check out this gloss. I’m a bit addicted to it — it’s one of those that I can’t stop reapplying. It gives coral or peach lipsticks a new dimension and on it’s own, it gives a beautiful shine.

Aside from coral lips, I’m also loving the blooming flowers in my garden. Thought I’d share some pictures that quite simply make me happy. The white ones I picked and placed in a vase , and the pink one is actually still on a tree by our front door. Gotta love summer!

The flowers are beautiful! I love looking at corals and your combos are gorgeous. I don't seem to be able to wear coral sadly, I tried Ever hip and it was not a good look for me. They look very pretty on you though!

Fresh Salmon looks really pretty! I like the Mary Kay color, too.
