Thoughts on Marcelle’s Anti-Wrinkle Makeup
As my age creeps up, I am seeing lines on my face that weren’t there before. Rather than running screaming into the night at the thought, I’ve become more proactive with my skincare and makeup regime. So, I know that there are literally hundreds of anti-wrinkle creams on the market but had not heard about anti-wrinkle foundation until recently.
Enter Marcelle’s New Age Anti-Wrinkle Foundation. This foundation, according to Marcelle, is designed to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines and crow’s feet and give a luminosity to the skin.
Intriguing, yes?
For me, this foundation provides light to medium coverage. The consistency is smooth and does not feel heavy. I tend to prefer to apply this foundation with my fingers and it is easy to blend. Available in six shades, I did have to mix two colours to match my skin tone. As for its promise of reducing the appearance of lines/wrinkles, the verdict is still out. I’m not sure if I actually see a difference. I also found that there was a distinct smell to the product which I didn’t love even though it is perfume-free. That said, it covered what I wanted to cover and did not looked caked on. Very light and pretty.
The foundation, which retails for approximately $22.95 Canadian, is a great option for those looking for a good quality foundation available at local drugstores or supermarkets. For me this was a departure from using my go-to foundations from department stores, and I must say I was more than pleasantly surprised.

"Perfume free" is often confused with "unscented". The scent is that of the raw materials and it can seem more obvious on certain skins VS others, even depending on the time of the month! Yes ladies. Hormones are a powerful thing! I'm glad you noticed that it's not cakey at all!

Nice, I've been using this everyday but I have to mix colours, too. But I can't seem to get a match from just this foundation, so I mix a tiny bit of a different foundation brand to get my right mix. But I love how it doesn't make me look dry or tired.
