I’ll have some "Caviar & Champagne" please – NYX Review
If I was a normal person who owned a normal amount of makeup, NYX’s Caviar & Champagne eyeshadow palette would be the answer to all my eyeshadow needs. Well, we know that’s not the case for me in reality…but nevertheless, I have been reaching for this pretty palette quite often lately.
Caviar & Champagne is a neutral palette contains 10 shadows, dark mattes to light shimmery highlights — a versatile palette for creating multiple looks. I got my hands on it via the lovely Sara as part of a swap last year.
It’s certainly not the best palette out there — some colours are more pigmented than others, and others are a bit chalky to apply. But what I love about this palette is the convenience of having my favorite types of colours in one container. This makes it great for travel or to save time (i.e. no rifling through my drawer of shadows in the wee hours of the morning, a pet peeve of The Husband).
I’ve read that this is priced under $10 (US) so pretty reasonable right?
Do you like palettes versus single pan shadows?

I prefer palettes of course. I try not to have single eye shadows, because I forget I have them xD
And I love this palette, despite I don't use it very ofte. But I like to put it in my purse when I'm going to be outside all the day and I have to go anywhere like a dinner or something, so I can make up my eyes everywhere, (i love this palette's mirror!).
I have also Smokey Eyes Nyx Palette, and I love it too!
Kisses.

NYX has some really great colors! This palette looks like it would be a great neutral or to keep in your office desk in case of emergencies.

I love palettes! I found myself not using much the single e/s as I'm always in a hurry in the morning to rummage through single e/s!
Thanks for the swatches

I am definitely a sucker for palettes. I don't have many single eyeshadows because I tend to forget that I have them. Haha. I own 3 NYX palettes, at first I loved them but the more I use them, the more flaws I found. So yeah, I am not so keen on them anymore. But I still use my Jazz Night palette every so often, I love the colors in that palette!

I prefer palettes, they're so much more comfortable for travelling and for an MUA to lug around. This one is quite pretty, I wish the shades were more pigmented though!

I am not a palette fan personally! I would rather buy great single shades and de-pot them into a palette that I make! That way there aren't shades that I never use! The only palettes that I go for are Sleek cosmetic palettes! I always find each shade does what it was supposed to!

Argh NYX is such a pain to find in Canada
those colours are so wearable and versatile
I prefer palettes because they're usually a better value than the single shadows, but I don't buy them often because there are sometimes colours in there that I don't like, and that kills the value.

Oh man this palette is exactly what I'm looking for so I can travel light. Thanks for showing it.

Ooh, that palette looks so lovely, but I've heard of the shoddy payoff of some of the colors. Unfortunately, NYX shadows seem to fade pretty badly on me, so I'll be skipping this one, but I WISH I could find a palette similar to this! It's like, the perfect neutrals travel palette!

Thanks for this, I was going to get a NVX palette recently but refrained. I'm not a big fan of palettes per se (other than Sleek)….but NYX are as cheap as chips and I was considering it…but I dont think so
Take care

What a shame about the mixed quality because all those colours are just lovely!
