Bring on Spring! Lise Watier’s Vintage Moderne Palette
Pastels are everywhere it seems for Spring. I am not usually big on pastels but I’m actually liking the way they are being presented this year in fashion and in makeup. There’s something very fresh about the colours this year. Lise Watier’s Spring 2010 Vintage Moderne collection features a number of pastels in its line-up, including the Vintage Moderne palette of shadows and blush.
The palette contains four eye shadows, a shimmery white, a matte pink, a shimmery mint green, and a shimmery brown. The palette also features a gorgeous peachy pink blush. All of the colours are very pigmented and smooth to apply. The swatch below is only after one swipe. The colours that I have gravitated towards the most are the pink, white and brown. The teal is nice but a little too cool for my skintone. It is really pretty though and I have also worn it on the lid with the brown in the crease. The brown is so rich in tone — I lurv it!
I’ve worn the pink as a base with brown in the crease and white to highlight. Very lovely!
The blush gives such a nice peachy pink glow with a slight shimmer.
The palette is Limited Edition so run to your local stores or check online for availability in your area.
Have you tried Lise Watier shadows before? Any favorites?

@Niki – sure – I will give it a shot! It's a hard colour for me to pull off so we'll see what I come up with.

Oh beautiful palette! I really love pastels. another great way to wear them is with a thick line of eyeliner, flicked out, pin-up style.
Anyhoo, thank youuu! It's awesome to win something once in a while.
As for the S&G products, trust me when I say I am impressed…but you'll read soon

Ah, I love those seafoamy green colors, but I'm like you, they don't show up well on my skintone at all. I have a similar color in a TBS shimmer cube and when I put it on it basically just looks white. =/
