This is Me: 7 Random Facts
I was tagged by two gorgeous ladies, Anjali and Lady Gray, to share 7 random/quirky facts about myself. Apologies for not doing this post sooner but better late than never! Here we go!
1. If there are mixed veggies on my plate, I tend to eat all the green veggies first and leave the red and orange ones last. Not sure why I do this but I do.
2. I cried the first time I stepped into deep snow when I moved to Canada. I was five and I think it scared me.Now I have a love/hate relationship with snow.
3. I won an award when I graduated elementary school — the French award. I must have done well in French class but I can’t speak or read it at all now. Maybe someday it will come back or maybe I should take lessons again!
4. I am a sponge when it comes to remembering useful information. For example, I can remember names of models John Taylor (Duran Duran) dated in the 1980s. At the age of 12 I was convinced I would marry him and so I kept track of my competition. LOL. I can also recall and rhyme off facts about actors and who they have dated or who’s married to who. Sad but true.
5. I still like watching “Survivor” on TV. Season after season I get caught up in this reality show and love it!
6. I love the Star Wars Trilogy. I could watch those movies over and over again — and still love them.
7. I bought my first MAC lipstick when I was 19 and it was Chili, which is a matte orangey-red that I think is still available.

haha omg the french fact is funny! I am not much of a snow fan myself and tend to dread it :S People find rain gloomy but I find snow gloomy!

LOL, wow, my bff and I also use to think we both were going to marry John Taylor (and I'm 20+ years ago, hahaha) We loved Duran Duran way back then. At some point I think he was dating Cindy Crawford.

Oops I think it was Renee Simonsen one of the models he dated, I always wanted for them to break up **rolls eyes** But hey, I was like 14…hehe

@Sher: Electric Eel is a beautiful colour — though I'm still scared of brights for the eyes!
@Lady Gray: LOL. Saw him a couple of years back when DD came to Toronto — my girlhood crush was 'crushed' when I saw him still sporting a mullet — but with a receding hairline.
@Shifa: We have to take French classes in school in Canada. I wish I knew how to speak it still!

I too wish I could still speak French — to be honest, I am curious to see if I still remembered some of it. After all, I did take classes for 13 years! Elementary school to first year university.

Love this list! Duran Duran and John Taylor! He WAS the cutest in the five.
