Loving…Vasanti blush in Andes
I only bought one makeup item over the holidays, surprising even myself. The one thing I bought was Vasanti’s blush in Andes — a lovely neutral apricot colour. Vasanti finally became available at my local Rexall Pharma Plus so I couldn’t resist picking up something when I saw the display. I was trying to be a good makeup junkie and limited myself to one item.
This blush caught my eye as it reminded me of NARS Luster and NARS Madly. And once I swatched, I saw that it is indeed along the same lines as these two beloved blushes in my collection. At $15 though, it is definitely a more economical option than NARS and in my opinion just as lovely. And you know how much I adore my NARS blushes.
Andes is a good neutral colour that gives a nice warmth to the cheeks. I’ve swatched it below but my photo doesn’t do it justice. On the left is a light swatch and on the right a heavier swatch. This colour works well on the apples of your cheeks and could probably work well as a countour colour for paler ladies. There is a very very slight shimmer to this but hardly detectable on the cheeks.
I’m really loving the makeup I’ve tried from Vasanti so far — the pigmentation is good, and the products are very finely milled and easy to apply and blend.
I want to treat myself to more Vasanti in the near future — already have my eye on a few more blushes! Visit Vasanti’s web site to find out where you can get your hands on this line.
