I will not…
I will not…
- make a resolution that involves a ban on makeup buying. Who would I be kidding?
-just buy something because it is pretty. I will try to be a smarter shopper. I will think about the item and determine whether it really is unique enough to buy. Otherwise, I will walk away. That is a promise.
-neglect what I already own in my collection. For the past week I rediscovered some old favorites and other products that have never seen the light of day. 2010 is the year I will make a concerted effort to shop my stash — and I have a few ideas on how I will attempt to do this in another post!
- be afraid to let go of items that I barely use. The past week, my mom, sister and sister-in-law were the recipients of some unused products that have been sitting in my makeup drawers that I felt I could let go of. It was hard to do as some of the items were pretty but in all honesty, I will likely not miss any of the items I gave away. And I know that the products I gave away will be used.
-be swayed by the fateful words “Limited Edition.” I actually walked by the MAC counter this week, took a quick look at the new collection and walked away *gasp*. That never would have happened last year!

I'm not tempted by the warm and cosy or lovelace collections either. The only things that tempted me were the MSFs but I already have similar ones, and plenty of them. Hardly even use them.

Great resolutions! I totally agree with the 'letting things go' that you don't use – I need to do that one this year too

Reasonable and realistic. I like them! I'm adopting similar rules underneath my "buy less, use more" resolution. =)

I've just made a rather large 'one more chance' pile to go through while I'm on holidays and everyhting I'm not loving has to go!

I need to stick by my 'use more buy less' resolution too! Lets hope it works out for us
