How Sweet it Is: Benefit’s Sugarbomb
I’ve come to really like the Benefit blushes — from Dandelion to Coralista (especially, Coralista). The latest to join my collection thanks to a bit of Christmas money is Sugarbomb. It is a sweet product to have in the blush arsenal. Sugarbomb comes with four pretty and wearable colours (peach, pink, rose and mauve). Colours can be worn individually, but I prefer to swirl it all together to get an incredible yet subtle glow. What I like about the Benefit blushes is the smoothness of the powder, which is very finely milled. And the light scent is very fresh and not at all overpowering.
My poor attempt at a swatch below (the last on the right is the colours all swirled together).
Be forewarned though — if you liked a pigmented blush, this isn’t the blush for you. It’s never going to be a blush that will give you that pop of colour.I do have to layer the colour to get good pigmentation on my skintone, so ladies who are more tanned than me (I’m NC 35 to NC 37) should swatch to see if it would work for you. I tend to add two layers to my cheeks for a nice light flush. I expect paler girls might get more colour from this though so I would recommend checking it out in person to see for yourself. For me, it’s simply a nice alternative from the more pigmented blushes in my collection, including my beloved Coralista.
The negatives? It’s on the high end at $36 Canadian (I was torn between getting this or another NARS blush). I’m also not a huge fan of the box packaging, which I think is very awkward if I want to include in my little makeup bag that I carry to work.
All in all though, I like this blush and and expect to be wearing this regularly from now until the summer.
What do you think of Benefit’s blushes?

It looks so cute! Love the colors!
It's a pity that it's so pricey.

It looks really good! I don't own a Benefit blusher, I don't like their cardboard packaging!

I love Benefit's blushes, and I'm really torn right now between this one and Coralista! I love the scent too. Dandelion has long been a favorite. The only one I didn't care for was Dallas.

I am not a big fan of their blushes as I love pigmentation. Their colors dont tempt me too :S However I have always wanted to get hoola or dallas. My faves would be Nars and Mac for sure
p.s. get another nars blush hun!

i have had my eye on this and debating whether i really want it. the colors individually look lovely. and i kind of like the idea that it is sheer, it would be good to wear when i want to wear blush but don't really want to look like im wearing blush
thanks for the swatches

I can imagine this being perfect for my pale skin. Will check it out on my next makeup trip!

That looks really nice, I've not bought from Benefit for a while but I will get that when it comes out in the UK. Thanks for the swatches x

cant wait to try this. is the coral colour the same/similar as coralista?

I just got Hoola maybe a week ago and I have to say it's my fav bronzer so far – very wearable, natural tan color for my fair skin, no shimmers, so I can use it all over the face, and the consistency is just perfect
SugarBomb looks fab too, but next time I think I'll be tempted by either Coralista or Georgia… Somehow nobody ever mentions Georgia? xxx

I really like the look of this! (cue Laura adding this to her list!ha ha)

@Jen: I think this would look great on you.
@Replica: It is worth a look
@Kerry: good question – I will swatch the two and compare!
@Rocaille: I LOVE Coralista! Georgia is supposed to be nice too but more subtle than Coralista.
@Liparazzi: this is so right up your alley!

I have been dying to try some Benefit blushes, especially this one. I almost bought it this weekend but held back, the price tag is a bit steep and I've been buying too much make up lately. I'm sure it'll end up coming home with me soon enough though! Coralista is another one I want to pick up at some point.

very cute shade, definitely subtle and gorgeous!

Oh that's nice how i can use it as a less-pigmented alternative from Coralista
Coralista is the only Benefit blush I have and I love it. I only wish I could bring it in my purse.

This is so cute and I've been hearing tons of raves about it, but I think ultimately it's just not pigmented enough for me. I have LM Orange Blossom for my sheer blush days, and a few really nice highlighters already.
I totally want NARS Taos and Outlaw though… and the new Dior one!

I really love Coralista but I don't think that it has good staying power. Its such a gorgeous colour though! x

I love Coralista too! It's my go to blush. Aww I'm disappointed that this one is a little sheer, thanks for the review

I think the packaging is something you love or hate, I loveeee them, its so cute. I never carry around makeup, but if I did I'm sure the boxes would annoy me
I kinda collect them because they are so cute:
