Go Canada! Vasanti Celebrates the Olympics with Special Palette

The Winter Olympics in Vancouver is only weeks away. To celebrate the Olympics, Vasanti Cosmetics has released a celebratory palette featuring eyeshadows in Gold, Silver and Bronze. The palette also includes a shimmery white highlight colour and a sheer red lip tint to represent the Canadian flag.

I recently tested out the palette and I must say I continue to be impressed by the quality of the Vasanti products. The shadows are very pigmented and are true to the colour in the pan. The most wearable colours for me were the bronze and the gold, which were very smooth to apply and blended very easily. I wasn't too keen on the silver which I thought had a bit of a grittier texture. The highlight colour is white with gold undertones I would say but for me, a bit too shimmery for day. The lip tint is lovely -- it is not sticky at all and feels very moisturizing. It does give you a pretty sheer red pout.
