50 Days of Lipstick: Day 4 – YSL Rouge Volupte #9 (Pink Caress)
I have professed my love for YSL Rouge Voluptes before so today I thought I’d feature one of these babies. Ladies, this is YSL Rouge Volupte #9 or Pink Caress. It is a cool-toned bright pink colour that I wore a lot over the holidays.The colour is a lot brighter than this photo shows; a great colour to wear to brighten up the dreary winter days.
I love how these lipsticks glide on your lips, the lovely mango-smell (at least that is what I think it smells like), and the full pigmentation. While I’m not usually a fan of gold, I adore the gold packaging of these lipsticks. My one complaint about these is that after a while, these tend to dry on the lips so if you have flaky lips, it doesn’t look good after a few hours. All in all though, as many of you have noted as well, these lipsticks are very addictive. I’d love to add more to my collection but cannot until I use up more products! I wish these weren’t so pricey! What do you say about Rouge Voluptes?

I love YSL's Rouge Voluptes! This colour looks great on you. I've never found that it gets dry/flaky on my lips but I usually reapply a few times a day. I tend to stick to YSL lipsticks because I usually find them so moisturizing.

Beautiful color! I can't wear Rouge Voluptes because I'm allergic to the SPF in them. =/

I've heard so many wonderful commnents about this lipstick that I will definitely have to give it a try ( I was trying to avoid more lip products, but…..) Just very hard to pick one color, they all look stunning !!! XOXO from Brazil
