50 Days of Lipstick – Day 1

For the next 50 days as part of my attempt to shop my stash this year, I will be wearing a different lip product combination that I will share with you either as a standalone post or as part of non-related post. I’m calling it 50 Days of Lipstick, though I will use lipstick with lipgloss and/or pencil, to create different looks. The goal? Use existing products; find some faves and weed out ones that don’t rock my world. A big thank you to my sister-in-law who came up with an idea for a challenge like this while we watched Dick Clark’s New Year’s Eve on TV last night.
Day 1
Today, I wore Dior’s Box Office Beige, a shimmery nude lipstick that I bought in the summer after a makeup artist told me it was one of Angelina’s favorite lipsticks.  I’m a sucker for this kind of thing sometimes. I do love the shimmer this lipstick gives; it’s a nice alternative for a nude lip with a bit of pizzaz. What I don’t like is the smell of the lipstick; it has a bit of a perfumey old lady smell. Know what I mean? Other than that, I say this is a keeper.
Here I paired it with:  neutral eyes using Lise Watier Quator Les Classiques eye shadow palette, Lancome Black Coffee liner and Dior Iconic mascara in black. On the cheeks, Bobbi Brown Nectar blush and MAC Perfect Topping MSF.
