Keeps and updates a wish list of makeup. Goes shopping with this list in hand. Shopping is quick and efficient. Swatches products but already has made her decisions before entering store. Feelings of accomplishment follow these shopping visits.The Impulse Buyer
Is usually at the shops for another purpose aside from makeup shopping. No list in sight. Lured easily by makeup displays and available products to swatch. Lots of wandering the aisles. Immense satisfaction loading up basket or shopping cart with makeup goodies. Buyer's remorse usually sets in after such purchase.My Take
I used to be a planner. I keep lists and strive to be more of a planner. But while I don't want to admit it, I am probably more of an impulse buyer. I have no willpower. There. Don't tell anyone ;-)

Ohh I am most DEFINITLEY impulse!!! All the way! I don't think I've ever made a need makeup list in my life- I buy makeup purely for the want! online shopping is the worst though lol

Umm a bit of both I think, I sort of plan as in clock a few things I want to look at, but then I do impulse buy as well.

I plan carefully but there have also been so many impulse purchases in the past that I'd have to say that I simply fit in both categories.
Depends on if I'm buying something for an exact purpose or not. If I want it to do something, like a top/base coat or a concealer, I'm definitely a planner.
I think I'm a bit of both. High-street/drugstore i'm impulse, but high-end I'm a planner....
I think im a bit of both, i sometimes know exactly what i want but sometimes when im shopping i do wander over to the makeup and end up buying something.
I'm a planner in that I plan to go ton the shops and spank a load of cash on what I don't need or realise I want til I see it there!
I'm definitely a planner... but sometimes impulse takes over once I start buying. Once I'm in the buying zone it's like "ooo, I didn't have that one my list...why don't I buy that too" haha

If I am spending more than $100, that is usually planned.
If it's less than that, it's mainly on impulse. I do at least 1 impulse visit to Sephora a week just to look at the shiny things. Half the time I don't get anything though.
Great question! I used to be a total planner, but as my love for makeup and beauty products has increased, I find that I am a total impulse buyer! Although there are moments when I go in for something inparticular (especially if I am shopping online), I find that when I am out in drug stores or the mall, I end up getting side-tracked and buying something I had no intial intention of purchasing in the first place! Oh well, I guess that's why my stash has become so HUGE! It definitely is time to go through and purge some items I don't use any more!

lol I too am somewhat of an impulsive buyer. Although being a MUA I do have a mental list of what I need or what to try
I'm the impulsive buyer, like many makeup lovers ;p
Sometimes I go in with something specific in mind, get it, and get out. Oftentimes, though, I go in just to go in, and end up coming out with things that I hadn't planned on originally. I'm trying to do better, but the pretties call to me...LOL!;)

For sure a planner. Always know what I want/need. However as I love to shop in general I always end up with more then I planned on and sometimes suffer acute buyer's remorse!
I am both. I am always adding to my wishlist of things i want, but i never buy them because i always end up buying something else i see.

Definitely both but I lean towards impulse. I usually go in with a good idea of what I'm looking for but only manage to come out with it about half the time.
I'm a planner *and* an impulse buyer. I normally plan, because reading blogs and what not gives me so many great ideas, I have to write them down.
like many girls above i am both. when i go to the store i usually know what i am going for and most of the time leave with just that. but there are times i get a little our of control

I'm a planner; it keeps me out of trouble! lol But lately I've been impulse buying..
Hmmm....I think I 'm mostly planner...but I say *think*, because I update my wishlists toooooo often! Lol!

now that you listed out the attributes of a planner, I feel I am much of a planner :) However that might be coz of the fact that I am still a student. Things might change when I work ;) hehe
Oh boy...the idea of being a planner is so foreign to me! Definitely impulse buyer...ooooops!!!
