Mad about NARS Madly

It's a NARS love-in here at Lipstick Rules as I'm going to chat a bit about Madly blush by NARS. It gives such a warm glow to the cheeks. I bought it based on blog reviews and Lollipop26's video.

I would call it almost a 'neutral' blush that is neither pink or peach. It gives my cheeks a hint of colour which was perfect for a day of shopping with the family. I paired it with a daytime 'smokey' eye using products from Pandora's Makeup Box and Vasanti; I lined my waterline ladies and I liked it! But again, I thought I overdid it but clearly it wasn't that heavy as I can see in the photo. For my lips, I'm using yet again of the Beaute's Weightless Lip Cremes in Trace, which is a light pink. Easy peasy.

Thoughts on NARS Madly?

I am feeling under the weather this weekend suffering through my first cold of the season. Blah. I had so many posts planned but it may have to wait a couple of days. What are you up to this weekend?

reading for exams this weekend :(
and I am so gona get Madly now! Great choice hun. I wanted something not too pink or brown and this seems perfect. Btw the Illamaqua bronzer duo is pretty good too if you like this, and so is bobbi brown cream blush stick in suede!

Oh hey! I almost bought my first NARS blush yesterday, but they were out of Taos, which I had decided on. But now that I have a little more time to decide, could you make one or two recommendations for me?? I would really appreciate it! I think I'm already pretty much covered in the peach/pinky-peach/peachy-pink department, but I'm looking for maybe a red or coral for wintertime? Thanks!! :D

I plan to just rest as I've been super busy the couple of months! I love your photo, your cheek looks naturally flushed, so pretty :)

@Su-pah: Thanks Girlie!

@Shifa: Madly and Luster are both work looking at -- I think you would look great with either of these! Thanks for the Illamasqua recco - I want to order some goodies in the new year and will add to my list.

@Catherine: Try Dolce Vita! or Cactus Flower cream blush. Both are gorgeous!

@Sher:I need to try Angelika someday!

@Askmewhats: thanks!! I cropped it as my hair looked crazy after I took my hat off from being outside. It was chilly in Toronto.

I bought my first NARS blush earlier this year and absolutely love it! I bought the NARS Desire blush.

I would love to try out all the other NARS blush but unfortunately, they are crazily overpriced in Australia.

One blush is like AUD$64 or something over here. So not worth it.

Looks gorgeous on you! I haven't actually tried madly but it looks so pretty and neutral I'm tempted to give it a go

Michelle. you look great in this photo, I love the look! The blush colour is very intriguing, I want it. Haven't bought anything from Nars since my Orgasm blush. Perhaps its time to visit Sephora or Holts today. I too am under the weather but I have not kids today so maybe.......just maybe I'll venture out! xxN

It looks lovely, so natural. Like you've just been out for a brisk walk in the snow! Which is what I've been doing this weekend, actually! :)

@Stefanie: thank you! It is worth looking at for sure.

@Nadia: Thank you! Did you end up shopping?

@Jen: Thank you! I was just out in the cold when this pic was taken -- but luckily we have no snow yet here!
