MLBB: What is your colour?
Lately I’ve been a bit obsessed with finding ‘natural’ or MLBB (my lips but better) lipsticks. They are easy to throw on when you’re on-the-go and work each time to add that little something to get that ‘no-makeup-look,’
which I think is kind of funny/ironic since you are using product to get that look. Anyway……………….
Here’s a list of MLBB lipsticks that work for me:
MAC Hug Me
Body Shop (the newest nude from its Colour Glide collection; name escapes me)
MAC Mellow Mood
Palladio Nude
Benefit Good to Go (which I just heard is one of the lippies that Kristen Stewart wore in Twilight!!!!)

oh for me it depends… in winter I am paler, in summer I get tanned so I think it depends.
Most of the time these work for me:
NYX Thalia
MAC Flattering
Most of my other lippies are bright colours or too pale for it to work in the summer and look natural

I recently ordered from NYX 3 lipsticks that are supposed to be great nudes so i 'll do a post when i receive the package

I don't really like to put on lipstick. We french kiss a lot (to say hello, to say bye, to say thanks..^^) so it's not practical to have lipstick on x)

I have very pigmented lips for my skintone…MLBB is anything rosy, pretty much! Fyrinnae Lickable is my to go to color. The picture on the web doesn't look like it but its a light rose. I want to try the Palladio nude…I've heard good things!

nars niagara lipstick. great pink lipsticks that will look good on anyone. it gives off a natural pink shade on the lips that doesn't look very much like lipstick at all.

MAC's Hug Me lipstick for me too! I've been wearing it almost everyday as a natural looking nude. For a MLBB that's a little bit brighter, I like L'oreal colour juice gloss in watermelon crush.

My favourite 'light' colour at the moment is actually Barry M's 136. Loving it. Also want a Doir Lip Glow when I have the pennies to buy it.

Hmm, I'm not quite sure I've found my MLBB shade yet! I am not sure that my natural lips really match my complexion very well so I've had ladies on the MUA board compliment my MLBB lips when I was wearing Dior Addict HS Gipsy Red which… well, while sheer, is still a pretty bright red lol. So… I guess that one is sort of a MLBB. I also quite like MAC Hug Me but it is more nudeish which my lips are not. I recently acquired Jane Iredale Catherine (:D
) and if I lightly tap it on, it makes a really beautiful fresh but natural looking lip. Jane Iredale Lily is a nice peachy nude on me which is pretty natural looking but in a totally different way. However, my most worn is probably MAC Fanfare because I think it livens up my face and goes with a very wide range of makeup colors.

@Catherine: I've never tried Jane Iredale but heard the line is great. Fanfare! I don't know that one – might have to look next time at the MAC counter.

I mostly wear glosses exclusively but my one favourite MLBB lippie is Bobbi Brown's Suntan Pink…pure perfection. Too bad I think it's been discontinued?
