Makeup Jackpot! Swap with Kerry1487
I feel like I won the makeup jackpot today. When I got home after getting the kids at daycare, what was waiting on my doorstep??? A package from MAC with my SUMO sale purchase….and BEST of all, a package all the way from Ireland from Kerry (http://www.kerry1487.blogspot.com/)! How cool is that?!
Kerry and I had arranged a swap between our two great cities – Toronto and Belfast. It was so much fun shopping for someone else and picking out things that you think that person might enjoy – all just based on what you read from their blogs and from emails.
Needless to say, I’m so thrilled with what Kerry picked out for me — from the MeMeMe cheek tint that looks like Benetint Posey and my first Barry M nail polishes and gloss! My 6 year old daughter thought the duo shadow pencil was the coolest — especially the gold side — and she asked for a ‘swatch!’ I’ve taught her well. LOL. It’s so amazing to be able to test out brands that aren’t available here.
Thank you Kerry for making my first swap a great experience! Can’t wait to try it all out! I’m bringing the candy with me to work tomorrow. If you haven’t already, go check out Kerry’s blog and subcribe to her Youtube videos.
